Assessment Activities and Processes and Validation (TAEASS403 & TAEASS401) - Upgrade Units

Description

Are you looking to upgrade your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) qualification to the new Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) qualification? This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to plan, organise and assess training for individuals within a group and participate in an assessment validation process.

By completing this course, you will comply with the Standards for registered training organisations (RTOs) 2015 – a requirement for all trainers and assessors who deliver VET-accredited training.

This course will address the non-equivalent units between both qualifications:
- TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and processes
- TAEASS403 Participate in assessment validation

To obtain the new TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, participants must hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as:

- TAELLN401A/411 Address adult language literacy and numeracy skills

If participants do not hold either of these units, they will also need to complete these units, which are available at TAFE SA.
